In an effort to better coordinate marketing across its portfolio of businesses, FanDuel Group has appointed Andrew Sneyd as its new Marketing EVP.
Sneyd’s new position will see him in charge of marketing for FanDuel’s daily fantasy sports, casino, advance-deposit betting, retail, and free-to-play divisions.
With an emphasis on product marketing strategy, creative, consumer insight, PR, and partnership activation, his work will span growth marketing, media, customer interaction, and marketing operations.
“Since his arrival at FanDuel, Andrew has raised our creative efforts and continued our spectacular growth,” stated FanDuel CCO Mike Raffensperger.
“His expertise in brand marketing has set us apart from the competition, and under his direction, I anticipate that we will keep making moments matter more to our customers.”
Sneyd, who formerly held the position of Vice President of Brand Marketing and Strategy at Priceline, has more than 20 years of expertise in international marketing.
Additionally, he has held a number of important positions at the brewery Anheuser Busch InBev.
In 2021, Sneyd was hired by FanDuel and promoted to SVP of Brand Marketing. He improved FanDuel’s position in the American market and widened the gap between the business and its rivals in this capacity.
The appointment of Carolyn Renzin as the new Chief Legal Officer by FanDuel in August is expected to “substantially extend” Renzin’s responsibilities.
Renzin will remain in her current position as Chief Compliance Officer but will also be in charge of the company’s legal, risk, regulatory, compliance, and responsible gaming departments. Her team will be working to make sure the operator keeps promoting customer safety, security, and compliance.
