Optx, a provider of gaming technology, has started to expand into Canada and has hired JP Symeonidis as its vice president of sales there.
Symeonidis has substantial industry experience from her 16 years of employment in the gaming technology sector.
According to Optx Co-CEO Brooke Fiumara, the choice to expand to Canada was an easy one given the company’s success in the United States.

“JP is the ideal missing component for the position of VP of Sales in Canada. The relationships he has made while working in the gaming tech sector much surpass his extensive background.

Previously, Symeonidis worked for Amaya as director of sales, where he pushed the company throughout Europe, Canada, and the Caribbean while simultaneously attempting to purchase a $4.9 billion company in five years.

His employment at Scientific Games was subsequently terminated because to the pandemic and the ensuing closure of Canada’s economy.

“I adore Optx’s inventive and forward-thinking attitude,” Symeonidis added. The company’s operational focus on its product to improve casino functionality is in line with my personal ambition to streamline and optimize a sector that provides a haven for leisure for so many people.

Optx offers casino operators an enterprise technology solution. Optx was established in 2019 by former casino executives.

Through a contract inked in April with Quinault Beach Resort and Casino, Optx provided their player engagement and marketing solution to the beachside establishment in Washington State.
