Fantasma Games’ gross gaming revenue (GGR) increased 314% year on year in the second quarter, while net sales increased nearly 400%.
The company generated SEK 6.3m ($622,338) in GGR in the second quarter, up from SEK 1.5m in the previous year and contributing to positive EBITDA.
Fantasma’s EBITDA for the second quarter totaled SEK 1.1 million, up from a loss of SEK 1 million the previous year.

The “main driver of growth” was cited as an increase in total gaming turnover. This amounted to SEK 1.4 billion, a 120% increase from SEK 655 million. Meanwhile, net sales increased by 396% to SEK 7.5 million from SEK 1.5 million.

Founder Fredrik Johansson returned to the role of CEO during the quarter, which Fantasma described as “busy.” During the second quarter, the company also expanded into the United States.

“What a quarter it has been for Fantasma Games,” Johansson said. We have driven growth across all KPIs, demonstrating the popularity and performance of our games in regulated markets worldwide.

“This growth has resulted from not only continuing to deliver slots that elevate the experience, but also from entering new markets and signing exclusivity agreements with power players in our core jurisdictions.”

Fantasma’s GGR for the second quarter brings its half-year total to SEK 14.3 million, up 450% from SEK 2.6 million. Meanwhile, H1 net sales have increased by 373% year on year.

“This is a fantastic start to a year with a lot of potential, and I and the rest of the team are looking forward to an equally successful six months,” Johansson said.
