GiG has expanded its Latin American footprint through an extended alliance with Argentine operator Grupo Boldt.
The latter’s Bplay brand is launching in Buenos Aires, and GiG has agreed to provide its player account manager and sportsbook.
More importantly, their agreement represents an expansion for both Bplay and GiG, which has secured multiple deals in the region in recent months.
GiG announced an agreement with Betsson in early August. This was GiG’s third partnership in Colombia, and it was for the group’s platform, specifically to support Betsson’s activity in Colombia.
Meanwhile, Argentina’s capital province has become the fourth LatAm region to welcome the Bplay brand, with a fifth on the way.
GiG and Bplay plan to follow up the latter’s debut in Buenos Aires with another venture, this time in the Argentinian province of Entre Rios, by the end of 2022.
“Bplay continues to provide the best gaming experience in Latin America for our customers,” said Jose del Pino, Business Unit Manager at Grupo Boldt.
“Our partnership with GiG and Sportnco Gaming has been a fundamental pillar in delivering the Bplay experience,” he continued, “and I look forward to continuing to grow together.”
“It’s exciting to be a big part of the expanding digital iGaming market for LatAm,” Hervé Schlosser, Managing Director of Sportnco Gaming at GiG, said.
“Our collaboration with Grupo Boldt and the Bplay brand holds a lot of promise in terms of leveraging our combined knowledge and expertise to further solidify our commerciality in the region.”
