Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has formed a partnership with Kings Media, through which GiG will provide its platform to the Ontario-based online casino operator.
The agreement represents Kings Media’s first foray into a North American jurisdiction, with GiG claiming that its platform and solutions are ideal for similar operators looking to expand into regulated markets.
The agreement, which was initially signed for three years, has the option of being extended. It is GiG’s second Ontario agreement, with the Kings Media deal set to go live in the first half of 2023.
“I am particularly delighted to partner with Kings Media, a prominent online casino operator and brand with a great deal of experience, who share our values around personalisation, responsible gaming, and the importance of regulated markets,” GiG CEO Richard Brown said.
“We see tremendous potential in Ontario, especially if we can leverage the operational experience of operators like Kings Media.” We are looking forward to working closely with the team to maximize potential through a successful market launch, and we anticipate that this will be a successful client for GiG.”
The King Billy casino brand is managed by Kings Media. The online casino, which debuted in 2017, is available in English, French, German, and Japanese.
“In our quest to expand to the exponentially competitive Ontario market, we were looking for a future-ready partner,” said Kings Media CEO Volodymyr Harkusha.
“GiG perfectly fit the bill, not only by ticking and double-ticking all of the boxes, but also by impressing us with their clear vision and dedication to the project.” We are excited to collaborate with GiG on the mutual challenges that lie ahead, and we are confident that this collaboration will allow us to gain a significant foothold in the Ontario market.”
In July, GiG was granted an Ontario supplier license, allowing it to begin offering its B2B sportsbook and player account management platforms to licensed operators in the Canadian province.
