Playstudios has formed a new partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts to expand its rewards program.
Players can now exchange PlayAwards loyalty points earned while playing for free for discounted stays across IHG’s entire portfolio.
This includes more than 6,000 hotel locations around the world, as well as 17 brands such as InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, and Holiday Inn.
Specifically, Playstudios’ new rewards include, among other things, a 15% discount for players who book a stay at an IHG hotel. To redeem a discount, players must also be a member of IHG’s One Rewards loyalty program.
“This is an unprecedented expansion, the largest in the history of our PlayAwards loyalty marketing platform, and we’re doing it with an incredible collaborator,” said Andrew Pascal, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Playstudios.
Playstudios has recently collaborated with other companies to expand its reward selection. In June, players could win discounted tickets to Las Vegas bus tours thanks to a partnership with Big Bus Tours.
Meanwhile, Lighthouse Immersive was added to Playstudios’ roster of rewards partners in May, specifically for an experience centered on famous Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh.
Pascal went on to say of PlayAwards’ most recent addition, “IHG Hotels & Resorts offers one of the most celebrated and diverse destination portfolios in the world.”

In other news, Playstudios recently reported $68.4 million in second-quarter revenue, a decrease from $70.8 million the previous year.
