EBet’s sports betting brand BetTarget has been named ring sponsor of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), which will take place on August 20 at Wembley Stadium.
With over 3,000 live events per month and thousands of pre-event markets, BetTarget provides odds and live betting on a wide range of major sports.
“Bare Knuckle fighting is quickly becoming one of the most popular combat sports in the world,” said EBet CMO Mark Thorne. With 91% of fans over the age of 21, this event is a perfect fit for our sports betting brand, BetTarget.

“We are excited to expose our brand to the massive audience that this fight card will attract.”

The agreement aims to provide BetTarget with extensive brand exposure, with the BKFC set to broadcast to 133 million homes in over 60 countries. The event is expected to draw 300,000 live PPV viewers and 25 million rebroadcast viewers.

Earlier this week, EBet announced a series of drastic measures aimed at increasing profitability, including a 54% reduction in the total number of employees and contractors.

The move came as the company sought to achieve a positive EBITDA result for this month, following a Q2 adjusted EBITDA loss of $4.7m and a Q3 adjusted EBITDA loss of $4m.

The layoffs coincided with plans to redistribute resources in order to refocus on iGaming.

In May of this year, EBet changed its name from Esports Technologies to “better reflect the company’s business and mission of providing innovative wagering and technology.”
