The PGA Tour has announced a new digital campaign to educate golf fans and raise awareness of responsible sports betting practices.
The campaign is in support of the American Gaming Association’s (AGA) ‘Have a Game Plan, Bet Responsibly’ responsible gambling initiative.
The AGA launched its public service initiative in 2019, first at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC, and then at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, before expanding to other sports venues.

The PGA was among the first sports leagues to join the AGA’s initiative, committing to collaborate in January 2021. ‘Have a Game Plan’ now has the backing of sports leagues, teams, media companies, gaming operators, and suppliers from across the sports betting industry.

The PGA’s campaign will kick off ahead of the Tour Championship in Atlanta this month, with broadcasts planned across a variety of Tour-owned media platforms, including BetMGM, betParx, DraftKings, and FanDuel.

The campaign will run until September, when the industry will celebrate Responsible Gaming Education Month.

The AGA has planned Responsible Gaming Education Month to “promote gaming literacy and consumer education, elevate employee training, and collaborate with partners to advance our understanding of responsible gambling.”

The PGA Tour named bet365 as its Official Betting Operator in June, in a deal that will last until 2024.

Bet365 logos and branding will be displayed throughout the PGA Tour media locations, with the operator providing fans in the UK, Ireland, and Australia with exclusive odds, leaderboards, and player information.
