Angela Wong has been promoted to Vice President of Global Lottery Solutions at Gaming Laboratories International (GLI).
The appointee, who was inducted into the PGRI Lottery Industry Hall of Fame last year, has worked in this industry for over a decade.
She worked as the Director of the Montana Lottery for nearly ten years before joining GLI in 2021.
Wong is also a former President of the North American States and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL), an organization that represents 53 lottery organizations in North America.
And, as previously stated, her efforts were recognized last year when she was inducted into the Hall of Fame’s “Class of 2021,” alongside IGT’s Wendy Montgomery and Scientific Games’ John Schulz.
“I am humbled and honored to be selected as an inductee into the Lottery Industry Hall of Fame,” Wong said at the time.
Meanwhile, Wong will be leaving GLI in May 2021, where she previously worked as Director of Lottery Solutions.
GLI’s Senior Vice President of Government Relations & General Counsel, Kevin Mullally, commented on her promotion to VP.
“The lottery landscape is rapidly changing, and we are confident in Angela’s ability to coordinate the highly specialized professionals from our global teams with our lottery clients to help them navigate the industry’s future,” he said.
Furthermore, GLI’s newest senior appointment follows two others made earlier this month. Barrie Wilson was hired as Manager of Client Services, while company veteran Ginnie Hollis was promoted to the position of Director of Engineering.
