PointsBet, an Australian sportsbook operator, has announced the launch of a sports betting newsletter in collaboration with Front Office Sports.
The newsletter will be published three times per week at first, with plans to increase to five times per week by autumn, and will be sent to PointsBet’s customer email list of approximately one million people.
The new publication will replace PointsBet’s current one, and it is expected to include more gambling news and tips for the target audience.

According to PointsBet, the newsletter’s goal is to “help existing bettors become more engaged, in addition to accruing new customers,” while also serving as a less expensive alternative to paid digital marketing, which is an expensive endeavor.

Front Office Sports’ in-house content studio will create the publication, which will be guided by PointsBet Editor Teddy Greenstein.

EVP of Marketing and Strategy Rick Martira stated that the company is “not opposed to monetising the newsletter with sponsorships, as long as it is secondary to the primary objective.”

In other news, the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission granted PointsBet a provisional license to launch its sportsbook this week.

PointsBet Group CEO and Managing Director Sam Swanell commented on the certification: “We are excited to be launching on the starting line and having our outstanding sportsbook product available to the people of Kansas from day one.”

“With the NFL season beginning on September 9th, the timing is ideal to highlight our NFL in-play betting capabilities in particular.”
