BetMGM, MGM Resorts’ sports betting joint venture with Entain, has launched a new social media advertising campaign.
BetMGM’s new campaign, “It’s On,” features a famous cast of actors and athletes who are all ambassadors for the sportsbook.
The marketing campaign will be delivered in the form of an episodic series and will premiere on national television on September 8 during the Thursday Night Football NFL slot.

In the first episode, Jamie Foxx roams a Bellagio suite looking for sports betting advice from Kevin Garnett, Wayne Gretzky, Jalen Rose, Barry Sanders, and Vanessa Hudgens.

“It’s On” was created by the New York production company 72andSunny and directed by Peter Berg, an executive producer of the TV shows Entourage and Ballers.

“Entertainment is at the heart of BetMGM, and we want this campaign to keep viewers on the edge of their seats in a way that’s unexpected from the sports betting and gaming industry,” said BetMGM VP of Brand Raymond Doyle.

More “It’s On” commercials will be released in the coming months, featuring Barry Sanders playing pickleball on a Malibu estate, basketball star Jalen Rose with his barber, and NHL player Wayne Gretzky during an on-ice practice session.

Hughes continued: “We wanted to show what makes sports betting so entertaining, and we took inspiration from prestige ensemble TV. ‘It’s On’ is about getting in touch with your competitive side and becoming a part of the sports betting culture. It’s something you can discuss with your friends and engage in a more meaningful way.”

As new “It’s On” advertisements are released, new spots will be made available on social media and television throughout the year.
