BetMGM has agreed to a new multi-year agreement with the Kansas City Chiefs to become the team’s official sports betting partner.
BetMGM’s logo will be displayed inside the Chiefs’ stadium, GEHA Field, and the team’s digital advertising boards will feature the BetMGM brand throughout games – with the sports betting operator also giving away prizes and game-day experiences to fans both at home and at the stadium.
BetMGM Chief Revenue Officer Matt Prevost praised the new agreement, saying: “The Kansas City Chiefs are an ideal partner, with a rich history and a devoted fan base. As we launch our sports betting platform in Kansas, we hope to improve the game day experience for Chiefs fans across the state.”
Meanwhile, Chiefs President Mark Donovan made the following statement: “We are delighted to welcome BetMGM to Chiefs Kingdom as an industry leader in the space. We have spent a significant amount of time and energy advocating for sports wagering legislation, and today’s announcement will allow our fans to enhance their experience for the 2022 season and beyond.”
BetMGM has a strong presence in the North American NFL leagues, as it is also the official sportsbook of the Canadian NFL and has a sports betting partnership with the NFL of the United States.
The announcement comes on the same day that Kansas became the latest state to legalize sports betting, with BetMGM, DraftKings, and FanDuel all offering sportsbooks to bettors from the start of the new American football season.
