According to Caesars Entertainment, Caesars Sportsbook is now available for download in the US state of Kansas.
Caesars Sportsbook in Kansas expands the company’s Midwest footprint by providing entertainment experiences at gaming destinations Harrah’s North Kansas City and Isle of Capri Hotel Boonville in neighboring Missouri, as well as Harrah’s and Horseshoe Council Bluffs in Iowa.
“We’re excited to provide a world-class sports betting experience that matches Kansas’ championship pedigree,” said Caesars Digital Co-President Eric Hession.

“Our Caesars Sportsbook app has never been more user-friendly, and when combined with the once-in-a-lifetime opportunities provided by Caesars Rewards, we’re excited about what we can bring to Kansas sports fans just in time for football season.”

Caesars Sportsbook is now available in 26 states and jurisdictions across North America, 19 of which are mobile.

“With a decades-long commitment to responsible gaming practices, Caesars is an industry leader in responsible gaming,” the company said in a statement.

“As Caesars Sportsbook expands into new markets, responsible gaming education remains a key focus, and customers in Kansas can directly access responsible gaming resources thanks to Caesars Sportsbook’s collaboration with regulators and the community.”

“In addition, the Caesars Sportsbook app includes best-in-class tools for preventing problem gambling, such as Deposit Limits, Spending Limits, Daily Time Limits, and Cool Off Time Limits.”

According to BetKansas.com, the Kansas sports betting marketplace opened its doors at 12:00PM Central Time on Thursday, with the state allowing legal wagers in a “soft launch.” Following that, five betting apps became available: Barstool Sports, BetMGM, PointsBet, DraftKings Sportsbook, and FanDuel Sportsbook.

“We are excited to be launching on the starting line and having our outstanding sportsbook product available to the people of Kansas from day one,” said Group CEO and Managing Director Sam Swanell in response to PointsBet being awarded provisional sports wagering certification in Kansas.

“With the NFL season beginning on September 9, the timing is ideal to highlight our NFL in-play betting capabilities in particular.”
