Fubo Gaming, a division of FuboTV’s sports live TV streaming platform, has announced its participation in and support for the American Gaming Association’s (AGA) Responsible Gaming Education Month (RGEM) in September.
The initiative’s primary goals include educating consumers about responsible sports betting, raising awareness of problem gambling, promoting gambling literacy, and evaluating employee training.
Fubo Gaming will incorporate responsible gaming messages inspired by AGA’s “Have A Game Plan. Bet Responsibly” service campaign across all of its social media channels, as well as its external-facing marketing assets, as part of its support.
In addition, the company has launched an internal campaign to provide employees with critical knowledge and tools to ensure responsible gaming.
In addition to RGEM, the group is running a year-long responsible gaming education campaign and will continue to engage its employees with periodic refresher training and user education programs, as well as provide tools (such as self-exclusion and limits) to ensure all players have a safe platform experience.
“Fubo Gaming is proud to join the AGA in celebrating Responsible Gaming Education Month to amplify the importance of responsible gaming,” said Scott Butera, President of Fubo Gaming.
“We are firm believers that social responsibility contributes to the best possible player experience.” As professionals in the emerging sports wagering industry, it is our responsibility to take a proactive approach to responsible gaming initiatives throughout the year, not just in September.”
The AGA established RGEM in 1998 to represent the US gaming industry’s annual celebration of responsible gaming.
