Silverton Casino in Las Vegas has launched a new program to reward active military personnel and veterans.
The resort has announced a variety of “special perks” for current and former military personnel, including up to 50% off at Silverton restaurants.
As part of the resort’s “Military & Veteran Salute” promotion, servicemen and women will be treated to a variety of benefits every Wednesday.
This will be added to Silverton’s already jam-packed week of promotional offers, which includes a scheme for healthcare employees and first responders on Thursdays.
The new promotion is available on Silverton’s website, along with a short message of thanks from the casino. “Thank you for your service, members of the armed forces and US veterans,” it says.
In addition to a 50% discount on dining, eligible customers will receive special happy hour rates and free “Swipe N Win” casino offers.
Existing Silverton promotions, such as the aforementioned “Healthcare Employee & First Responder Salute” and the resort’s “Fab 50+ Senior Mondays,” provide similar benefits.
Visitors must present a military ID, badge, or discharge papers at the property’s rewards counter to take advantage of Silverton’s new promotion.
Silverton is not alone in providing special benefits to military personnel. Penn National Gaming operates a similar program known as “myheroes.”
This comes after Silverton began a $45 million renovation project in August. The pool and hotel will be closed from then until 2023, but Silverton’s casino, restaurants, and other amenities will remain open.
Silverton CEO Craig Cavileer described the renovation as a “creative opportunity to reinvent our entire hotel operation in Las Vegas.”
