Leadstar Media, an affiliate, has been granted a license to promote legal online casino brands in West Virginia, expanding the company’s US footprint.
The Swedish company is already licensed in 14 other US states, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Colorado, as well as Virginia, the Mountain State’s neighbor and namesake.
In fact, the West Virginia Lottery had already granted Leadstar a sports betting license. This latest approval, on the other hand, allows the company to provide players with “legal online casinos, casino offers, and information.”
This will be accessible through Leadstar’s US-facing websites, including Bettingapps.com and Unitedgamblers.com.
Previously, the company used these domains, along with others like Sportsbooksonline.com and Bookiesbonuses.com/us, to legally operate its sports betting supplier products.
Finally, Leadstar’s iGaming license allows it to promote any type of legal online gambling in West Virginia.
“We have been humbled and honored by the tremendous growth and success as one of the leaders in the iGaming affiliate industry since launching our products in the United States,” said Eskil Kvarnström, CEO of Leadstar Media.
“Obtaining our full iGaming supplier licence in West Virginia is yet another significant stepping stone for us in our journey to become the best iGaming affiliate in every regulated US state,” he continued.
Despite operating in several markets, Kvarnström stated that Leadstar is most excited about growth in the United States.
“Although we are a company that successfully operates in various geographical markets all over the world,” he added, “we are admittedly most excited about the potential success and challenges that come with the US iGaming industry.”
