The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement reported total gaming revenue of $480.7 million in July 2022, representing a 7% increase over the $450.6 million reported in July 2021.
Total gaming revenue for the year to date was $2.91 billion, a 14% increase from the previous period’s $2.56 billion.
The total casino win for the state’s nine casino hotel properties was $298.9 million, an increase of 8% from the $276.9 million reported in July 2021. The total casino win for the nine properties was $1.61 billion year to date, up 16% from $1.39 billion the previous period.

The July 2022 internet gaming win was $136.7 million, up 15% from the previous period’s $118.7 million. Year-to-date internet gaming revenue increased by 26%, from $752.9 million to $951.2 million.

Sports wagering gross revenue fell 18%, from $55 million in July 2021 to $45 million in July 2022. Year-to-date gross revenue from sports wagering was $353.2 million, a 17% decrease from the $423.3 million reported in the previous period.

Slot machine win represented $215.8 million of total casino win in July 2022, a 6% year-on-year increase, while table game win represented $83.1 million of total casino win for the month, a 15% year-on-year increase.

In terms of internet gaming revenue, peer-to-peer was worth $2.3 million, with other authorised games accounting for $134.4 million. The former was 26% lower than in July 2021, while the latter was 16% higher.

Borgata led the way in terms of properties, reporting $124 million in revenue in July 2022, a 16% increase year on year. Hard Rock and Golden Nugget came in second and third, with totals of $59.9 million and $49.2 million, respectively.
