DraftKings’ DraftKings Rocket game is now available in Pennsylvania.
DraftKings Rocket, which debuted in New Jersey last year, is now available in all five states that allow legal iGaming in the United States, as well as the Canadian province of Ontario.
The online game allows players to win money by competing against other players in real time, each placing bets on when they believe the rocket will rise and when they believe it will fall – cashing out when bailing from the rocket in the game.

The sports betting company, best known for its online and retail sportsbooks, offers several iGaming casino games to US customers. Meanwhile, it recently announced a partnership with the Golden Nugget Lake Charles to provide the casino hotel with the largest retail sportsbook in Louisiana.

DraftKings’ sportsbook at the Golden Nugget now has 3,200 square feet of TV screens showing live sports, 16 video poker machines, three blackjack tables, 300 lounge seats with VIP areas, and 30 self-service kiosks spread across 12,000 square feet, in addition to the new DraftKings Sportsbook Bar & Grill restaurant.

Though it was launched last year, the DraftKings Rocket game is indicative of two larger industry trends: one, B2C companies using proprietary technology to create their own games more frequently; and two, cross-selling of sports bettors to online casino games, where revenue potential is far higher – so fewer players are required for higher profits.
